Mad Cow Saloon & Eatery

There's a university and a couple community colleges in Greeley, but they may have not been back in session on Jan, 4, 2020. Restaurant wasn't too busy, maybe half of the 12 or so tables were full around 1 pm, no one at the bar. We had my 3 year old grandson with us, and the cook made his grilled cheese sandwich and the waitress delivered it right away to keep him happy. We all had cups of homemade soup (very hearty, well seasoned) and half sandwiches. They were enormous and all fresh ingredients, with choice of 4 kinds of bread and 3 different sides. Service was attentive.

Nice stop for a thirsty traveler! Clean bar, no frills, friendly service and tasty food! Had the Jay’s French Dip, delicious and great French bread 🥖.Nice airy & light atmosphere, nice conversation and an overall upbeat spot to chill out with friends!
